Ciara is a recent graduate of the Physics with Biomedical Science degree in DCU. In her third year she completed an internship in the quality department of a leading biopharmaceutical company, where she expanded her knowledge of the product compliance and regulations involved in the manufacture and distribution of life changing therapeutics. She joined the PUreTex team as part of her final year project to combine her passion for physics and awareness of production standards with aiding the team to transform the sustainable use of textiles in Ireland. Ciara’s involvement in the project focuses on developing testing apparatus that can determine the thermal properties of insulating materials.
