Laura is a recent graduate of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences degree in DCU. In her third year in DCU, she completed a 6-month internship in a leading pharmaceutical API plant, where she worked in the quality control department. Here she had a hands-on role in upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance. Laura then joined the PUreTex as part of her final year research project. The project combined her enthusiasm for chemistry and sustainability. Laura’s involvement on this project will look at the depolymerisation of PET-based textiles.
